STABLE RELEASE Win 64-Bit or Win 32-Bit
Download the latest stable release of the full Fluid Designer package complete with 3D Printing objects (Release date: 1/5/2015; Updated: 1/1/2017). You should read the instructions on how to install and configure the application. If you don’t follow these instructions you will not see the 3D Printing files we have created.
QUICK INSTALL – Unzip the file on your C:\ Drive in the Documents folder and double-click the “blender” application to run it, once you start the application go to File and select to Load Fluid Designer Defaults, then Exit the application and Start it again to see the asset libraries on the left hand side of the interface. Click the Group Library button to refresh file list and then select File and Save Startup File. N.B. Clicking the Group Library button will refresh the folder and file list.
MSVCR120.DLL MISSING – If you get an error message saying this file is missing from your system go to Microsoft Visual C++ and install the file from there.
PARAMETRIC SMART OBJECTS – Fluid Designer uses parametric smart objects (curves) to enable anyone to create complex objects with ease. The video shows designing an earring using 3D printable fonts (Arabic, Hebrew, Korean and Russian).

CURVE ADD-ONS FOR FLUID DESIGNER OR BLENDER
These add-ons have been created specifically for use with Fluid Designer for 3D Printing but can just as easily be used with Blender (you may wish to set Resolution back to 100 & bevel to 0.08). Curve types that you can produce include: Archytas, Basin, Borromean, Capareda, Celtic Knots, Clelia, Conical Rose, Enneper, Helix, Lissajous, Pappus, Spherical Helix, Tennis Seam, Viviari and Wire Dish. N.B. These add-ons are all based on Torus Knot Plus. Files should be unzipped and placed in the addons folder and switched on in Preferences.
LEARNING PROJECT FILES e-LEARNING – Win 64-Bit Version
Download the latest Learning Files (for use with our free e-learning course) and content Database that contains updated Learning Projects and 3D Tools (Release date: 1/5/2015; Updated: 14/7/2015). ONLY install this after FIRST installing the Fluid Designer software first and ensure that you install it in the SAME FOLDER. You should read the instructions on how to install and configure the file.
QUICK INSTALL Unzip the file FD3DPrinting.zip. Browse to the 2.74 folder, highlight and Copy the entire folder to the clipboard. Browse to the installed FluidDesigner application and Paste the 2.74 folder directly onto the existing 2.74 folder and Replace any files in that folder.
